Services & Treatments

1) Comprehensive Women’s Health Assessment

  • Detailed history (cycle, pregnancies, symptoms, family history, meds)
  • Physical exam (as indicated) and vitals
  • Lab work: CBC, ferritin/iron studies, B12/folate, CMP, fasting insulin/glucose, A1c, lipid panel, thyroid panel (TSH, free T4, free T3 ± TPO/Tg antibodies), sex hormones (estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, SHBG, DHEAS), vitamin D, CRP as indicated
  • Personalized plan reviewing pros/cons of each option

2) Hormone Health & HRT (Menopause/Perimenopause)

  • We recognize that menopause and perimenopause are natural life stages, but the transition can bring a wide range of symptoms—from hot flashes and night sweats to mood changes, sleep disruption, brain fog, and changes in bone, heart, and metabolic health. Our first priority is a lifestyle-first approach, optimizing:
  • Nutrition to support hormone balance, bone density, and cardiovascular health
  • Exercise & strength training to preserve muscle and metabolism
  • Sleep & stress management to regulate cortisol and support overall well-being
  • Targeted nutraceuticals (vitamins, minerals, botanical extracts) with clinical evidence for symptom relief and long-term health support

Non-Hormonal Symptom Management

  • For women who cannot or prefer not to take hormones, we provide clinically proven non-hormonal options for vasomotor symptoms (hot flashes, night sweats), sleep issues, and mood changes. These may include:
  • Botanicals such as black cohosh, red clover, or Siberian rhubarb extract
  • Prescription non-hormonal agents for hot flashes (if appropriate)

Ongoing Monitoring & Safety

  • Your safety is our top priority. All HRT prescriptions include regular follow-ups and laboratory reviews to ensure benefits outweigh risks. Our monitoring includes:
  • Endometrial risk review for women with a uterus on estrogen therapy
  • Blood pressure and cardiovascular health checks
  • Lipid profile and metabolic health assessments

The Goal: To help you feel like yourself again. Eenergized, clear-minded, strong, and confident while protecting your long-term health.

3) Thyroid Optimization

Our thyroid care program

is designed to uncover the root cause of symptoms such as fatigue, weight changes, hair thinning, mood disturbances, and menstrual irregularities—often overlooked in women’s health.

Comprehensive evaluation & differential diagnosis.

We distinguish between primary hypothyroidism (thyroid gland dysfunction), central hypothyroidism (pituitary or hypothalamic causes), and autoimmune thyroid disease (e.g., Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Graves’ disease). This includes a detailed symptom review, physical exam, and targeted lab testing such as TSH, free T4, free T3, reverse T3 (as appropriate), and thyroid antibodies (TPO, TgAb).

Nutritional & lifestyle strategies

We assess dietary iodine and selenium intake, optimize nutrient cofactors such as zinc, iron, and vitamin D, and address gut health to improve thyroid hormone conversion. Where indicated, we provide targeted supplementation protocols and support for anti-inflammatory, balanced eating patterns.

Medication co-management

In collaboration with your primary care provider or endocrinologist, we help fine-tune therapy. This may include levothyroxine (T4) monotherapy, or carefully selected combination therapy (T4 + liothyronine [T3]) for patients who continue to have symptoms despite optimal labs. We review medication timing, absorption factors, and interactions (e.g., calcium, iron, caffeine).

Monitoring & follow-up

Regular reassessment of symptoms, labs, and dosage to ensure optimal thyroid function while minimizing side effects. We also monitor cardiovascular, bone, and metabolic health.

Our approach blends evidence

based medicine with functional strategies to address the whole picture—helping you regain energy, improve mood, support metabolism, and restore hormonal balance.

4) PCOS & Cycle Care

A Comprehensive, Root-Cause Approach

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is more than just irregular cycles—it’s a complex hormonal and metabolic condition that can affect energy, fertility, weight, skin, hair, and emotional well-being. We take a functional medicine approach to address the underlying drivers, not just the symptoms, so you can regain balance and improve long-term health.

Cycle Mapping & Ovulation Support

  • We start by understanding your unique cycle patterns through cycle mapping—tracking hormonal shifts, ovulation timing, and symptom changes across the month.

Our strategies may include:

  • Nutritional adjustments to support estrogen-progesterone balance
  • Supplements such as myo- & D-chiro-inositol for ovulation and egg quality
  • Stress and sleep and exercise optimization to improve hormonal signaling
  • Support for healthy cervical mucus production and luteal phase stability

Insulin Resistance Reversal

  • Since PCOS is often linked to insulin resistance, improving insulin sensitivity is a cornerstone of treatment. Our programs may include:
  • Nutrition coaching focused on whole foods, balanced macros, and glycemic control
  • Resistance training & strength exercise to improve glucose uptake and metabolism
  • Targeted nutraceuticals such as inositol or berberine* (when clinically appropriate and safe)
  • Continuous monitoring of metabolic markers such as fasting insulin, HbA1c, and lipids

Skin, Hair, and Emotional Well-Being

  • PCOS symptoms like acne, unwanted hair growth, hair thinning, and mood fluctuations can be distressing. We offer targeted solutions to address these concerns:
  • Skin care plans, including topical treatments and internal anti-inflammatory support
  • Hair restoration and loss prevention strategies
  • Nutritional and supplement approaches for reducing androgens
  • Mood and sleep support through lifestyle, nutraceutical, or prescription options

The Goal: Restore hormonal balance, improve fertility potential, reduce metabolic risks, and help you feel confident in your body—inside and out.

5) Metabolic & Weight Optimization

  • Structured nutrition (lowglycemic, proteinforward), intermittentfasting protocols (where suitable)
  • Resistance & zone2 training plans
  • Evidenceinformed adjuncts: fibre, protein pacing, creatine, vitamin D
  • Medication support (if appropriate coordinated with your prescriber)

Frequently Asked Questions

Is HRT safe?

For many symptomatic women, appropriately prescribed bioidentical HRT can be safe and effective. We individualize dosing and monitor risks (breast, cardiovascular, thrombotic) per personal/family history and current guidelines.

Do I need labs for HRT or thyroid care?

Yes—baseline labs and periodic monitoring guide safe, effective treatment.

Can I do this if I have a history of breast cancer, clotting, or migraine with aura?

We will review contraindications carefully; some cases require alternative approaches or specialist input.

Do you offer weightloss medications?

We prioritize nutrition, training, sleep, and metabolic health. If medication is appropriate and available in Canada, we coordinate.

Do you replace testosterone for women?

Select peri/postmenopausal women may benefit from lowdose testosterone for hypoactive sexual desire disorder after a thorough riskbenefit discussion and monitoring.

Are iV therapies required?

No. They are optional adjuncts used when clinically indicated (e.g., iron deficiency) or as supportive therapies.
